No. The game is free, has no in-app purchases, no ads and no lives or energy. Hints and Undo are unlimited and free.

No. The whole game, including the daily and weekly challenges, plays offline. The internet is only used by Apple's iCloud to sync your progress in the background.

When you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is allowed for Apothecary, the game keeps your progress in Apple's iCloud key-value storage. Open the game on another device signed in to the same Apple Account and your progress appears after a short while (it can take a minute or two). If two devices both made progress while offline, the game combines them: you keep every level, every star, every achievement and the best score from each device, and nothing is ever removed by a sync.

1. Settings › your name › iCloud: make sure iCloud is on and you are signed in to the same Apple Account on both devices.
2. Settings › your name › iCloud › Apps Using iCloud (or See All): make sure Apothecary is on.
3. Make sure both devices run the latest version of the game and have a connection for a minute or two.
4. Open the game on both devices once. If it still does not appear, contact us.

Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on, install Apothecary and open it. Your progress comes back from iCloud. If you restore the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup, the local progress comes with it too. If you never used iCloud, progress can only come from a backup of the old phone.

Version 1.0 has no reset button, and progress only grows: a sync never lowers a star rating or removes a clear. To start from the beginning, delete the app; and, if you want to clear iCloud as well, delete Apothecary's data in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage. Achievements are part of your saved progress, so they are cleared only by those same two steps, never by playing or replaying levels.

Using Undo or a hint caps a level at two stars. Undo and hints stay free and unlimited; the cap only keeps the third star meaning "no help".

Open Settings in the game and choose Language: English or 简体中文. Switching does not restart the level and does not lose your progress, your Undo steps or your selection.

Check the silent switch and volume. In the game's Settings you can turn music, sound effects and haptics on or off separately. Haptics need an iPhone that supports them.

The game follows the iOS "Reduce Motion" setting (Settings › Accessibility › Motion). Hit positions, paths and results stay readable with it on.

1.0 没有重置按钮，进度只增不减：同步不会降低星级，也不会取消通关。想从头开始，删除 App 即可；想连 iCloud 里的也清掉，再到“设置”›你的姓名›“iCloud”›“管理账户储存空间”删除 Apothecary 的数据。成就属于存档进度，只有这两步才会清除， 玩关或重玩关卡都不会清掉。

用过撤销或提示的关卡最多两颗星。撤销和提示依然免费、无限；上限只是让第三颗星保持“没有借助”的含义。

在游戏的设置里选择“语言”：English 或简体中文。切换不会重开关卡，也不会丢失进度、撤销步骤或当前选择。

请检查静音开关和音量。在游戏设置里可以分别打开或关闭音乐、音效和震动。震动需要支持它的 iPhone。
